Why switch
They go through the wash or sit in a drawer. Anyone with a matching stamp can fill one, and you can’t tell who your regulars are.
Nobody installs an app and makes an account for a coffee. The ones who do forget the password by the third visit.
The reward is printed on the card and specials live on a chalkboard. There’s no way to reach the people who already love you.
Tapback keeps the ritual and drops the cardboard.
The hardware
Five precision parts, three switches and one NFC tag. Take it apart, or drag to turn it.
The card
Recorded from the working demo, set up for Kaffeine & Co in Yagoona. Your card gets your name, logo, menu and photos.
Staff console
Who it’s for
Not a franchise system with a sales team. A small, good-looking tool for owner-run cafés that know their regulars by name.
You already run a stamp card and you know it leaks. Keep the habit your regulars like and lose the cardboard.
Opening soon or just opened? Start with repeat visits built in from day one, instead of bolting a program on later.
One console, a card per shop, and you can switch between them in a tap.
Anywhere people come back for the same thing. If it has a counter and regulars, it works.
Sets the reward, posts specials and sees who comes back, without a laptop at the counter.
Taps and moves on. No scanning, no hole punch, no “do you have your card?”.
Gets a card that can’t be lost and a free coffee that turns up when it should.
See it for yourself
We’ll bring a tamp in the finish you like and a card set up with your menu. Fifteen minutes, at your café, at a quiet time.
TapThe tamp meets the phone and the card link opens.
Send this to us and we’ll reply within a day to lock in a time. Nothing has been sent yet.
After you sign up
Here’s what to expect from the day you say yes to the first coffee stamped at your counter.
A short chat at your café to get the details right.
Made in your finish with your logo engraved on the cap.
We bring it in and show the team. It takes ten minutes.
We look at the first weeks together and tune it.
After that it runs on its own. Message us any time you want a change.
Ask about any of these on your demo call.
No. The tag opens your café’s card in the phone’s browser. The first time, customers sign in with Google so their card is saved and follows them to a new phone.
Any recent iPhone or Android phone with NFC turned on. iPhones read the tag without opening an app; most Android phones do too once NFC is on in settings.
Each tap makes a fresh one-time code that the server checks, so refreshing the page or sharing the link gives nothing. You can also set a cooldown between stamps from the console.
No. The NFC tag is passive and draws power from the phone that taps it. There’s nothing to charge and nothing to connect at the counter.
Yes, any time, from the staff console. Changes show on every customer’s card straight away.
It’s a simple monthly subscription. We’ll give you a price on the demo call once we know how many counters and shops you have.
